We are pleased to offer Aerial Survey services to our clients. For our standard aerial imagery operations, we fly a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone, which is equipped with a 20-megapixel camera and 4k UHD video recording capabilities. We offer standard and georeferenced aerial imagery on demand as a standalone service to meet our clients' needs.

Additionally, we’ve incorporated the use of Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) as a supplement to our already-established services, such as ecological restoration and mitigation monitoring. We use UAS-acquired aerial imagery for landscape-level seasonal assessment of plant health, creation of digital elevation models (DEMs) of recently-built restoration projects, generation of 3D models across the landscape, before-and-after construction comparisons, and evaluation of vegetative and invasive species cover.

In addition to standard aerial imagery, UAS operations are becoming pivotal in wildlife population assessment. Drone-mounted thermal imaging systems are revolutionizing wildlife monitoring, as they provide a way to cost-effectively conduct population assessments without disturbing the study’s subject matter. Here at MAD, we can provide these services to support and encourage informed decision-making regarding wildlife population management of mammals, such as whitetail deer, and nesting bird species.
