The yacht itself met our expectations and was very clean and comfortable. We are already thinking about next year.
— Bill Resch, K-12 Environmental Program Coordinator New Albany-Plain Local Schools

Mark’s workshop on creating vernal pools was right on target. The group left with the information they needed, the hands-on experience they wanted, and the enthusiasm we were hoping for – enthusiasm that’s bringing them back next month to get their hands dirty creating our very own new vernal pool. Thanks to Mark for all the hard work he put into the program!
— Carrie Elvey, Naturalist at The Wilderness Center

MAD Scientist Associates has been very instrumental in securing a grant to purchase an 80-acre nature preserve for our community. Their study provided a Baseline Ecological Survey and Wetland Determination Report and a Five-Year Plan to maintain and enhance the preserve that has invaluable information.

MAD Scientist Associates and their sub consultant were able to provide the City of Delaware necessary background information for our low-head dam removal project. The wetland and mussel surveys performed were thorough and generated reports meeting the Nationwide Permit 27 requirements. The staff submitted a complete Nationwide Permit 27 application for approval and approval was issued without any question from the Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District. This is a testament to the quality of work MAD Scientist deliver with their projects. The City of Delaware highly recommends working with Mark and staff for environmental services. They have proven to be very knowledgeable and deliver quality work in a timely manner.

MAD Scientist Associates are a wonderful resource to the Westerville Community. They have educated Westerville students, staff, and parents on stream monitoring and water quality for years. I have also been to several community sponsored events where they offered their expertise. It is so exciting to watch children and adults having fun and learning while knee deep in a creek with a net. Working with MAD Scientist Associates is the favorite activity of the year for many of my students!
